· To provide pertinent and recent announcements related to pandemic influenza related issues for providers and administrators in a batched together in one email.
· These emails will focus on timely topics, and not meant to be a comprehensive listing (please see CDC or CA State Health Dept website for that).
· The content of these weekly emails are also coordinated between the IHS California Area Office, the Native American Alliance for Emergency Preparedness (NAAEP) and the California Tribal Epidemiology Center (CRIHB) in order to minimize cross-postings.
· Announcements and alerts of a more time sensitive nature will be distributed immediately and not through this format.
