This is the comprehensive workbook for pandemic influenza preparedness for Indian Health Clinics and communities developed by the Indian Health Services and provided by the California Area Office.

Pandemic Influenza Plan Template

This is a clinic-specific pandemic influenza plan developed for California Indian Health Clinics using CDC guidelines. The pandemic influenza plan assumes the existence of a clinic emergency operations plan (not necessarily the one above). Crosswalk between IHS Workbook and Pan Flu Plan Template

Several of the clinics have asked for a tool to help correlate sections of the IHS workbook with the Pan Flu Plan Template provided by Indian Health Program consultants. This crosswalk allows clinics the delineate between those services traditionally provided by county public health departments versus services provided by Indian Health Clinics. It also provides IHS with the ability to collect data from those clinics which complete the template rather than the workbook for their surveillance efforts.
